The John Holmes Trail Run is enjoying its 23rd running in 2014. Until 2006 it was simply called the Croom Trail 50K. In 2006 Race Director Jim Bodoh, a long time Croom Trail Runner, renamed the race in honor of founder and Croom Trail staple, John Holmes.
